Getting Closer!

We stopped in Sudbury to take a picture with a giant nickel and eat supper at DairyQueen (yes we ate healthy on the road) And we finally find a divided highway that has a speed limit of 100km instead of 90. Of course we did on one occasion come across an albertain and we managed to follow him at a nice 120 for a while.

Our Arrival in Toronto take place in the dark and in the middle of a downpour. Always fun to finish a 1300km trip in a city you don’t know and enough water that you can’t see the lines on the road, but we finally made our way to Katherine’s house. A glass of wine and it was lights out for us.

July 3rd 9am yes we get to sleep in since there’s only 5 hours left to drive (all on a divided highway double yes).

We get to Montreal right in the middle of the cone festival, yes it’s a festival that lasts all summer and is much bigger the what we have in toon town. The cones are even made jumbo size, I was glad to let Catherine finish off the drive.
And that my friends is the condensed version of our trip.
Oh and for those that warned us of the wildlife, the only thing we saw on the side of the road in Ontario was a turtle, yes and it wasn’t moving all that fast
