The job

Day two at work s in the bag, the team is cool and the rest of the staff seems very friendly. They have to be, every time I was presented as the IT guy, they all smiled and said we would get to know each other real fast. The routine here is starting to take shape, I only get lost for time-to-time now, and I leave the maps of the office on my desk. I was surprised at the lack of questions regarding Saskatchewan (as a side note I now understand most people don’t know I’m from there).
So far this week Catherine drives me to work, but I’m starting to drive around now. I know the routes to the important places, Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire and two gas stations that sell the ‘squish squish’ cheese.

The routine at the house is also starting to take shape, I get up at 6:20 to take the bus to work, get home at about 5, do little stuff around the house, install some AC. Maintenance on the roof, then we take some time to relax, a beer, wine with our neighbours.
Talk to you again next week.
