Public transportation try out

Hey every one,
Last Thursday I decided to try my luck with the public transport on a test run to the office. I leave the house at noon, and I get to the Longueuil terminal (after locking my keys in the house) to search for the ticket vendor. I stop at the macs to buy some ‘squish squish’ cheese, and the clerk tells me to go down in the metro to buy them. Once there the the attendant tells me I have to go upstairs on the bus side of the building (The transit building is bigger then our airport) Long story short I found it and bought some passes. Now for some maps, two of the three I could use are nolonger available, and I can’t find bus #77 which google maps told me to get on. I’m frustrated so at 12:50 I get on the first dart that goes to the Panama terminal (where the 77 was supposed to take me). At 1:15 I arrive, only a short jaunt to the office now, so as I’m waiting I start looking at all the bus routes (bad idea and you’ll see why), I find that the #42 drives by the same spot that #132 (bus recommended by Google) and leaves 15 minutes earlier. So I hop on at 1:32, well #42 does not go by my work, so I spend time learning a new section of town and the bus driver tells me I have to get off because it’s the end of the line, thankfully he said he’d bbe back in 15 min. Finally back on the bus I ask the driver to drop me off as close as he can to my work place, and that my friends is how I end up starting a 2km walk to get to my office. Finally I get to work at 3 for a total travel time of 3 hours.
On the way back, I followed directions and it took me one hour.
